Edson Commercial Hot Water Systems not only come in a large range of sizes, but can also be customised to suit your needs. Edson has manufactured customised Hot Water Systems for large cruise-ships, naval vessels, non-metallic mine hunting ships, high speed trains, multi-storey hotels and apartment developments.

Commercial Electric Standard water heaters have traditionally been manufactured with enamelled carbon steel and ferritic or austenitic stainless steels. However, Edson chooses to use Duplex Stainless Steel for all their Edson Commercial Hot Water Systems, providing greater strength and corrosion resistance and not requiring any coating, pressure supporting material or sacrificial anodes.

Duplex Stainless Steel has the highest available resistance to both pitting corrosion and stress, corrosion cracking, which is the most common fault with standard hot water systems. Temperatures above 60°C can also cause problems with lesser grades of stainless steel, but Duplex Stainless Steel is capable of storing water up to 96°C without any negative effects.
